Membership

Membership in Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, is by invitation only. We encourage interested women with a track record of community service and currently pursuing a baccalaureate degree or in possession of a baccalaureate degree to contact a chapter in your local area for more information.

The required way to show formal interest in membership is by attending an Informational Interest Meeting hosted by Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated. You are welcome to bring a resume. Attendance at the Informational Interest Meeting does not guarantee that an invitation to membership will be extended.

It is expected that individuals who are invited to membership in Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, have demonstrated a commitment to scholarship, service, sisterhood, and finer womanhood.

If you are considering membership, we encourage you to become familiar with Zeta’s Policy Against Hazing. You are never required to participate in hazing activities to become a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated. Members of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, and women who are interested in membership are prohibited from engaging in conduct that violates the Policy Against Hazing.

The membership of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated includes 125,000+ college-educated, dynamic, community service-driven, diverse, and professional women. The benefits of membership include opportunities for professional development, personal development, and sisterhood. Our members are active in their respective communities and hold dear the ideals of Service, Scholarship, Sisterhood, and Finer Womanhood.

Types of Membership:

Undergraduate
Initiated members who are currently pursuing a baccalaureate degree.

Graduate
Initiated members who have obtained at least one undergraduate degree.

Honorary
Initiated members identified by the International body of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated for providing exemplary service to the community through their service or profession.

Life Member
Initiated members who have paid extra fees for the ability to be classified as life members with extra privileges.Z

Zeta Dove
Initiated members identified by the International body of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated for providing exemplary service to the Sorority for 50 years or more.
